The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church , Pastor William Kumuyi , has firmly stated that no one will dictate the choice or timing of his successor, declaring that the decision rests solely with God. Speaking during a Bible study programme , the 83-year-old church leader responded to a remark made by a member suggesting the need for a successor. He warned that any attempt to pressure him into naming one would be outrightly rejected, adding that even his wife cannot influence such a decision. “The brother who taught the other Tuesday kept saying there is no leadership without a successor.
