Verydarkman Warns Lil Smart Over Allegations Against Naira Marley and Zinoleesky

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has issued a stern ultimatum to dancer and singer Idowu Smart Emmanuel, alias Lil Smart. This follows allegations Lil Smart leveled against Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, which he has yet to substantiate with evidence.

The controversy began when Lil Smart failed to attend a meeting in Abuja after receiving ₦1 million from VDM to cover his flight expenses. Lil Smart claimed his decision stemmed from mistrust of VDM, citing the activist’s handling of late singer Mohbad's case as a reason for his apprehension.

VDM, however, has demanded that Lil Smart provide evidence to back his allegations against the Marlian Music CEO, Naira Marley, and signee Zinoleesky. In a statement, VDM vowed to ensure justice is served if proof is presented. Conversely, he warned that Lil Smart would face repercussions for raising baseless accusations.

“We cannot allow a digital space where anyone can make unfounded allegations to gain fame or trend,” VDM stated.

Meanwhile, Zinoleesky has denied any involvement in the claims made by Lil Smart. He clarified that he has not had contact with Lil Smart in years and cautioned against the misuse of his name for social media attention. Zinoleesky has also hinted at potential legal action to address the situation.

The ongoing dispute has drawn mixed reactions online, with many urging Lil Smart to substantiate his claims or publicly apologize. VDM reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing justice, emphasizing the need for accountability in addressing sensitive allegations.

The case underscores the growing scrutiny of allegations made in the digital space and the demand for credible evidence to support claims.
