Nigerian Student Celebrates WAEC 2025 Success with Viral Dance Video

A Nigerian secondary school graduate, who had earlier captured the internet’s attention with her stunning princess-style attire at her graduation prom, has once again gone viral—this time for her joyous celebration of her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) 2025 results.

The young student, identified on TikTok as @munaa, shared a video of herself dancing alongside a friend, announcing that they had both passed the highly anticipated examination. Her caption, “Mood because we passed WAEC. God did,” struck a chord with many Nigerians, reflecting the relief and excitement felt by thousands of candidates nationwide.

Prior to the release of the results, the student’s regal appearance in a blue ball gown at her prom had drawn praise across social media platforms. Many followers expressed admiration for her elegance and confidence, with the latest video now adding academic achievement to her growing public profile.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) confirmed that this year’s WASSCE saw participation from nearly 2 million candidates across over 23,000 educational institutions, with female students slightly outnumbering their male counterparts. According to WAEC, the vast majority of registered candidates sat for the exams, which were conducted nationwide.

Social media reactions to the student’s post were overwhelmingly positive, with TikTok users congratulating her for excelling in both style and academics. Comments ranged from playful remarks about her earlier prom glamour to heartfelt prayers for similar success in the futures of others.

Her story stands as a reminder of the resilience and determination of Nigerian youths, many of whom continue to chase their dreams despite challenges in the education system.
