Speaking during a press briefing on Tuesday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed the recovery of fake currencies, including $3,366,000, CFA51,970,000, and ₦1,443,000. "The counterfeit currencies recovered amount to a total of ₦129,542,826,000," Kiyawa revealed. According to the spokesperson, the suspects are currently in police custody and assisting with investigations to uncover the origin of the counterfeit notes and the individuals behind their production.
